Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas sent a loving gift to Nobel Peace Prize winner, Pakistani global education activist and Hollywood producer Malala Yousafzai on her 26th birthday.
Priyanka shared a memorable smiling photo with Malala on her Instagram story, writing, “@Malala Happy Birthday!” May you always have the best blessings! , with a pink heart emoji.
Malala responded to Peasey’s post with a blushing emoji.
The young activist also wrote a long note recalling his first speech at the United Nations.
“Today I am celebrating my birthday with the girls in Nigeria, a tradition I started 10 years ago. graduated from college.
“I founded the @MalalaFund and have traveled to 31 countries to meet supporters like myself who are fighting to improve access to education for girls,” Malala wrote.
She added: “We’ve had our achievements and our setbacks, but we keep fighting. At 16, I can’t imagine what the next decade will be like for myself and for girls like me.” I couldn’t do it either, but seeing the world wake up to the injustice we face gave me hope.”
Malala concluded by saying: “Today I met a future leader and I can see the future more clearly. Girls and young women like this one understand the power of education and every child can go to school. We are working hard to open the school gates wide.
“If we live up to their determination, fund their work and follow their lead, I know we will see even greater progress in the next decade.”
