Right after ‘Surf Ek Bandar Kafi Hai’ premiered at the New York Indian Film Festival, Manoj Vajpayee sneaked out a new song from the courtroom drama ‘Sahara to Mela’.
The song was written and sung by Sangeet, Siddharth Hardipour and Ashiz Kaul. The lyrics are by Garima Obra.
Vajpayee plays a lawyer in the film. The trailer evoked a legal notice from Godman Asalam Bapu, who has been charged with rape.
The actor tweeted: “Jab Yar #bandar hoga saat, na hoga koy dar, na hone dega anai apke saas #SaharaTuMera teaser now available exclusively on @HitzMusicoff, #SirfEkBandaaKaafiHai will premiere on #Zee5 and #Zee5Global on May 23rd.”
This song will be released on Wednesday. The maker had previously shared the title track, which quickly won over viewers.
A heartwarming tale, the film’s key message is that in a battle between ordinary human will power and self-proclaimed divine power, the former always wins, as no human being is above the law. It depicts the struggle of a rape victim.
Directed by Apooruf Singh Kalki, the film will premiere at ZEE5 on May 23rd.
