Viewers want to see their relationship, so having a real-life couple on the big screen has its advantages. And it looks like Kiara Advani and Sidarth Malhotra, who got married in February this year, will be the next real-life pair to hit the screen. Karan Djohar’s production company has reportedly signed a deal with the couple to star in a film directed by Shashank Kaitan.
The report also claims that the pair have sported new looks for the film, which is set to begin production soon. The film is reportedly set to begin production in August. It was also implied that Sidarth and Kiara were keen to get started on the film, as it was their first film together since Shershah. In a previous interview, Sidarth made a proposal regarding working with Kiara. He said that when the parts come together, everything will happen in time.
Sources say Siddharth and Kiara have signed a three-film deal with Shashank Kaitan, with Karan Johar set to produce the films. In addition, Siddharth will appear in Rohit Shetty’s detective series ‘Indian Police’ and Kiara will appear in ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ alongside Kartik Aryan.
