Asked what would have happened if one of the beginners had made a mistake during the event, Zoya told the popular entertainment portal that the “kids” had been practicing the same for months and were fine. . In addition, she claimed that Zoya discussed the crew’s journey in the film and went to great lengths to achieve the same. The director went on to explain that the young actors underwent multiple screen tests in the beginning. The next six months were spent in a real “boot camp” that included acting workshops with 3-4 different characters, dance training with Bosco Caesar, skating and biking.
Zoya further clarified that, contrary to popular misconception, she is neither the group’s “principal” nor a chaperone. She continued that even though the actors are young, they are still adults living their own lives. Additionally, Zoya said she is kind of making a comeback with the cast as this is her first period work and her first comic book adaptation.
The Archies is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Based on the popular comic book of the same name, the film is set in 1960s India and stars Agastya as Archie Andrews, Suhana as Veronica, Khushi as Betty, Vedan as Reggie, Dot as Ethel and Mihir as Jughead.
