Abhishek Bachchan shared his review of Ponniyin Selvan 2 on Twitter. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film stars his wife and actor Aishwarya Rai. Abhishek praised Aishwarya’s work in the film, but one told him to let her sign more films and take care of her daughter Aladhya herself. and gave a clear answer. Sharing his thoughts on Ponniyin Selvan 2, Abhishek wrote: I am at a loss for words right now. I am so overwhelmed. Well done to the entire team #ManiRatnam @chiyaan @trishtrashers @actor_jayamravi @Karthi_Offl and the rest of the cast and crew. So I am very proud of her best wife,” he wrote.
In reply to his tweet, one wrote: Please get her to sign more of her films and take care of Aladhya. Abhishek replied: Sir, she certainly doesn’t need my permission. Especially what she loves her. ”
Fans of the couple applauded Abhishek’s reply. “Well said…also looking forward to seeing you both in the movie.. ‘Jay and Nandini together in the movie will be a treat to watch,'” wrote a fan. “My man’s tweet of the day,” another commented.
Abhishek and Aishwarya married in 2007 and welcomed daughter Aladhya in 2011. The couple has appeared in many movies such as Guru, Doom 2, Rahvan, Umrao Jaan.
Ponniyin Selvan 2 is the second part of the Mani Ratnam epic. The film is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s five-part novel series of the same name. The Hindustan Times review of the film states: Aishwarya’s influence on the character is so strong that she is so good at it that it’s hard to imagine anyone else wearing her shoes. Whether it’s her angry eyes or her long silences, Aishwarya brings a lot of life to the film. ”
