After the death of filmmaker Aditya Chopra’s mother, Pamela Chopra, on Thursday morning, Amitabh Bachchan and his family paid a visit to Aditya’s home in Mumbai to offer their condolences. Later that day, Amitabh wrote on his blog about fond memories he shared with Pamela while filming the movie, and how her sudden death made him feel as if his “life had come to a standstill.”
Amitabh visited his blog and wrote about Pamela. he wrote: “In the midst of an effort to achieve..there is sudden news that Yash Chopra’s wife, Pamela Chopra, has passed away..and life comes to a standstill!Her and filmmaking and music sitting and outdoors and home a gathering..all take a breather..and they all leave us..all left behind a good time spent..and after this ordeal on the first day..hurry home to yashuji visiting, seeing family and reliving all the years past..life is so unpredictable and demanding..”
Amitabh Bachchan arrived at the Chopra residence with his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. .
Pamela Chopra died Thursday morning at the age of 74. Reportedly, she had been hospitalized for 15 days due to her age-related health problems. The Chopra family confirmed her death in a statement, revealing that her cremation took place at 11am on Thursday in Mumbai.
