Laal Singh Chaddha was released on 11 August 2022 and was unable to benefit from the extended holiday weekend around Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day.its first weekend collection ¥4.6 billion. The film was later released on Netflix. Now Anupam Kher said that if it was a great film, he “couldn’t have stopped” the work of Lal Singh Chadda.

“Lal Singh Chadha was not a great movie. If it was a great movie, there was no power to stop it. Aamir Khan’s PK worked really well. The point is you have to accept the truth.” There is,” Anupam told news agency ANI.

Talking about the ‘boycott of Bollywood’ trend, Anupam feels that this trend will not affect movies. Anupam further added that if everyone has freedom of expression and actors have the right to say something about any situation, they should be brave enough to go through the situation. He seemed to be alluding to Aamir’s old remarks.

The boycott trend against Lal Singh Chadda began after a 2015 interview with Aamir Khan, who said his then-wife Kiran Rao would move out of India due to “rising intolerance”. It has been attracting attention again on social media.
