Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai police on 19 July 2021 on suspicion of being involved in the production and distribution of pornographic content through an app called Hotshots. Two years later, new reports say that a film about Raj Kundra’s 63 days in prison is in the works. Raj, the husband of actor Shilpa Shetty, broke his silence about the arrest last year in a social media post saying, “It’s been a year today… it’s only a matter of time before you’re released from Arthur Road. Films about Raj Kundra
Now, Pink Villa reports, sources say a film about Raj’s arrest and life in prison is in the works and will be announced soon. The source also added that Raj Kundra himself will be in the film.
“This film will tell you everything Raj Kundra went through during his tenure at Arthur Road Prison, one of the most overcrowded prisons. But Raj Kundra will be involved creatively in all aspects from production to script,” the insider added.

What Shilpa Shetty said about the arrest of Raj Kundra
Earlier in 2021, Shilpa Shetty also responded to her husband’s arrest by writing a statement on Instagram. “Yes! The last few days have been difficult on all fronts. There have been many rumors and accusations. A lot of trolls and questions were directed at me as well as my family,” she wrote.
“My position… I have not yet commented and will refrain from commenting on this matter as it is subordinate. Raj has kept a low profile since being released on bail. Shilpa and Raj got married in 2009 and have two children, son Vian and daughter Samisha. Vian was born on May 21 and Samisha was born in 2020 via surrogacy.
