Recently, the news of Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri was floating around everywhere. Currently, filmmaker Karan Johar has said that his production company, Dharma Productions, is not producing the film.
Curran posted on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, saying, “To put this on record, and for everyone involved, we (Dharma Productions), as reported in various articles, We are not making a movie titled 2…”.
On Monday, it was reported that Dadakh 2 will feature Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles and will be directed by debutant filmmaker Shajia Iqbal. It was also said that Karan was ready to franchise Dadakh.
Meanwhile, in terms of work, he is set to make his first comeback as a director in seven years at Rocky Aul Rani Ki Prem Kahan alongside Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azumi. The movie will be released in cinemas on July 28th.
