Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today. The two she married on June 3, 1973. Since then, the two have become her one of B-town’s most beloved couples. In commemoration of this, Amitabh wrote a kind comment on his blog.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote: “June 3rd will be over in a few days, and the year will count for 50 years.
Meanwhile, Amitabh and Jaya’s daughter Shweta Bachchan shared a rare old photo of her parents, writing, “Congratulations to my parents at 50 – now you are ‘golden’. What is the secret to a long marriage?” When asked if it was, my mother said love.” And I think my dad was too – the wife is always right. That’s the pros and cons!!”
