After Shehnaaz Gill, Salman Khan’s next film Kick 2 will reportedly launch Asim Riaz in Bollywood. Asim He is the runner-up of Bigg Boss 13. His recent Instagram post sparked even more fire, but now Sajid Nadiadwala has stepped up to shut down any speculation. Taking to Twitter, Sajid’s production company, Nadiadwala Grandson’s account responded to one such report, denying it. Their tweet read, “We are working on a script for #Kick2, but this news is not true! I ask all media houses to clarify the news before it goes to print.”
Rumors started when a Free Press Journal report confirmed Asim Riaz’s Kick 2 debut. He was reportedly offered a pivotal role in the film. The same report, citing a source close to Asim, said that “the film will be released in 2024 and an official announcement regarding Asim’s role in the film will be forthcoming.”
Asim, meanwhile, recently shared a selfie of himself on his Instagram story, captioning it with “New beginnings.” His post left fans congratulating him. No longer available.
Kick 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to Salman’s 2014 action flick. She reunites with Jacqueline Fernandez. Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala unveiled her film on Jacqueline Fernandez’s birthday 2020 to get her involved. However, no new updates have been shared by the film’s team.
“We have not yet locked posts for our female co-stars and will start working on a filming date. Kick 2 will take place in December 2021. I am finishing the script.” the filmmaker told PTI before locking Jacqueline.
Salman Khan is now basking in the success of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Published on the occasion of Eid, Venkatesh, Poojahegde, Jagapathi Babu, Jasigil, Raghavjuyal, Siddharsnigam, Bhumika Chawla, Bhagyashree, Shennazgir, Vijender Singh and Palakhe Tiwari performed. Ram Charan and Abdu Logik also made guest appearances in the film. This marked the official entry of Palak and Shenners into Hindi cinema.
