The film understands that the system is too powerful for a few angry youths alone to overcome. The most destructive idea is that if you want revenge, you have to do it from within the system.

They live in the Polumbok area called Jackson’s Bazaar. They wear yellow shirts and maroon pants. They play brass and percussion instruments. They are all men, young and old. And they are very popular with the locals, as evidenced by the welcome they received after performing at a church festival. They are the “Jackson Bazaar Youth” and the most popular member within the band is a trumpet player named Jackson Velayan. From the first scene where he washes his trumpet with water, you’ll love this character played by the wonderful Jaffar Idukki. It looks like a surly teddy bear, but it’s not overly cute. He plays Jackson Velayan like a mentor, a leader, and most of all, a musician who loves his music more than anyone else in the world.
