We all have our favorite judge duos and trios on Indian reality shows, but the chemistry between Malaika Arora, Kiron Karr and Karan Johar on the set of India’s Got Talent is always a must. The three won millions of hearts on screen, but their behind-the-scenes gossip never failed to bring smiles to people’s faces. Once, Kiron Kar roasted Malaika Arora for wearing 1.5 earrings and criticized KJo’s fashion sense, so he left everyone split.
Malaika, Kiron and Karan have come together to judge the talent show for its fourth season in 2012. The trio remained in the judge’s seat for the next four seasons (until her IGT Season 8 in 2018). In 2022, Malaika and Karan stepped down from the role, but Bollywood veterans continued to judge the show.
In 2018, Karan Johar kept his fans updated on behind-the-scenes fun through his Instagram handle. In his one of the videos, the filmmaker captured Kironkar’s wild comments about his and Malaika’s costumes.
In the clip, KJo praised Malaika’s unusual earrings, saying, “Malaika, I like the look overall. Even the earrings. Chaiya Chaiya Dancer said, ‘Like? The filmmakers then panned the camera to Kiron Kale and asked for her opinion. Yekyaluk high”
Karan defended Malaika, saying, “It’s a new Kiron Ji thing. It’s so amazing to wear this ‘dead’ look.” But the actor and politician said, “Matlab aajkal tum log underwear pehen kar bhi chale jaoge to new look ho jaega. Ek taraf se toota, lagta hai toot gaya hai iska Earrings. Please! Sorry.”
Karan further asked Kerr for his opinion on the looks, but the actress revealed that she was not a fan of Kerr’s fashion sense. You never look like Adhoora, you always look like Adhoora.” The clip ended with the filmmakers praising Carr, calling her a “beautiful mannequin”, and she said, Toodles. Watch the video here.
