Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh released a new dance number called ‘Dindra Baje Re’ from their upcoming movie ‘Rocky Aul Rani Kii Prem Kahani’ on Monday. The two actors were seen dancing in perfect synchronicity, and there was even a moment that reminded them of the famous song “Dora re dora” from the movie Devdas.
The song depicts Alia and Ranveer wearing bright red traditional costumes and dancing during Durga Puja.
Recently, a video syncing the song with Dola Re Dola was posted on Reddit and caused a stir on the internet. A user posted on her Reddit sharing a video of Ranveer and Alia dancing to Dola Re Dola.
“Dora Le Dora” is choreographed by Saroj Khan and stars Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit. Vaibavi Merchant, meanwhile, choreographed “Dindra Bhaje Re” written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and sung by Darshan Raval and Bhoomi Trivedi.
Directed by Karan Johar, Rocky All Rani Kii Prem Kahani is a family drama that blends romance and comedy. This story follows the love story of Rocky and Lani who have to fight their families to prove their love. The film, starring Alia and Ranveer, is set to release on July 28. In addition to the two lead actors, the film also features Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Ananya Pandey, Anjali Anand and other notable actors in key roles.
