Yeah, same here. I prefer to watch and rewatch 100’s “One from the Hearts” and “New York New Yorks” or “Mera Naam Jokers” and “Dil Ses” and even Maniyin Selvans. Or most of the Indian film industry is mass produced. – I still can’t sit at Kattru Valiyadai, but there will always be one exception I guess 🙂
And your distaste for movies that try to “impose a message” and change the world prompts you to flee the junk fest that Hollywood is now producing as well, with an emphasis on activism rather than artistry. I believe that there must be
