2. Julia Roberts
Julia Roberts, 55, is also a celebrity from Tinseltown and has a legion of fans. Back in 2010, she said Julia identified herself as a Hindu and that she embraced this religion for “spiritual satisfaction.” In her famous interview, the Notting Hill actress mentioned how she met Hinduism, she said:
“I practice, I practice a lot of things…Hinduism is something that I am very intrigued and very interested in…I see a picture of a guru named Neem Karoli Baba. That was the reason.”

Back in 2017, the American singer, songwriter, and actress performed Lakshmi’s pooja, and her photo went viral on the internet. She is not sure if she still practices Hinduism, but she admitted that she practices Hinduism in search of spiritual peace and nirvana.
4. John Coltrane
World-famous American jazz saxophonist John Coltrane was one of many who embraced Hinduism. He was of course born into a Christian family, but as he grew up he gradually became influenced by Hinduism. Over time it is said that he eventually converted to full Hinduism.
5. Trevor Hall
Trevor Hall is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist who adopted the name Mantra on January 1, 2006 and converted to Hinduism. He is a disciple of Swami Bhajanananda Saraswati and receives instruction from him.
6. Claudia Sierra
German supermodel and actor Claudia Siesla was originally born into Ashkenazi Judaism. However, inspired by his growing interest in Hindu culture and mythology, he converted to Hinduism in 2009. Now she considers herself a devotee of Lord Ganesha and she accepts her karma beliefs.
7. Russell Brand
Russell Brand is a noted British comedian and actor. He is one of those who regularly attend Hare Krishna services. He even has a tattoo that reads “Anugachathi Pravaha,” which in Sanskrit means “go with the flow.” Back when he was married to Katy Perry, she noted how Russell was utterly fascinated by Hinduism.
8. Jerry Garcia
Jerry Garcia was the founder and star player of the rock band The Grateful Dead. He was influenced by Hinduism from an early age. He is said to have had a great interest in Hindu beliefs since childhood. More notably, after his death in 1995, his ashes were buried in the Ganges River in Rishikesh, India.

53-year-old Elizabeth Gilbert is a renowned American journalist and author. She is Sanathan another persona around the world who has accepted her Dharma. She was converted when she traveled all the way to India to find inspiration for her most famous work, Eat, Pray, Love.
10. Will Smith
Will Smith, who is popular for works like I Am Legend, The Pursuit of Happiness, Hancock, and Bad Boys, also appreciates Hindu practices and beliefs. When he visited Haridwar, India in April 2019, he claimed that Hindu rituals awakened a new world around him.
