Long ago, there were rumors that Jolly 1 Arshad Warsi and Jolly 2 Akshay Kumar would face off in the third division of Jolly LLB. And since the actor confirmed the news of Part 3 in a recent interview, stating that Jolie LLB 3 is coming out soon, things have been going well, and the idea seems to be well worked out.
Jolly LLB is the story of a less successful lawyer who rises to fame when he decides to fight a spoiled kid in a hit-and-run case. The film was critically acclaimed for its close connection to the hit-and-run case of superstar Salman Khan. It was followed by a sequel, Jolly LLB 2, which became a franchise film with Akshay Kumar playing the role of Jolly LLB.
The third installment in the series, Jolly LLB 3, is currently in production, and Arshad and Akshay have decided to go head-to-head. The rest of the details about the case are being kept confidential. However, Arshad Warsi himself acknowledged the franchise while promoting his upcoming web series “Asur 2”.
In a conversation with Terry Chucker, Warsi talked about the many sequels and said: Sanjay (Dutt) and I want it to happen, Raju (Hilani) wants to make it and Vidhu (Vinod Chopra) wants to produce it. But so far it hasn’t happened. Jolly LLB 3 with Akshay takes place. The writer of Dharmaar called me and said he was working on his next piece. As for Golmar 5, I think one day Rohit (Shetty) will call me to shoot the film in Goa. he can actually do that. ”
So, at this point, Jolly LLB is the only confirmed sequel to come out in 2024. Interestingly, director Subhash Kapoor has long considered the idea of Jolie vs Jolie because he wanted an Akshay Kumar showdown. and Arshad Warsi. For a very short time, there were strong rumors that Shah Rukh Khan would be joining the series as the new Jolly LLB, but Shah Rukh Khan was inspired by the country boy image in “Zero” and Bauer to join the series. I declined the offer because it didn’t connect with my audience.
The series returns with the original Jolie, played by Arshad Warsi in Part 1 and Akshay Kumar in Part 2. It will be very interesting to see how the showdown changes and who will be on the right side!
