The South Indian film industry is setting new trends by appearing on New York’s Time Square billboards. Previously, Mahesh Babu’s daughter had appeared on a high-profile billboard promoting an advertisement for a well-known jewelry brand. Vijay’s fans then shared a video of the actor celebrating his birthday there. That’s where Prabhas’ upcoming pan-Indian film Project K gets there. Advertisements and premiere dates for the film were displayed, and Prabhas shared the video clip on social media.
Ms. Prabhas shared the video, writing, “The #ProjectK billboard in Times Square. Premiered on July 20th.”
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is the next big thing in Telugu cinema. Rumored to be a dystopian movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan. The film’s creators have been working hard to create the world of Project K from scratch and share it in a series of videos titled “From Skratch.”
The filmmakers keep the plot and other details of their projects secret. However, Ashwini Dutt, the film’s producer, said in an interview that Project K is a sci-fi fantasy about a futuristic version of the Hindu god Vishnu. She also revealed that Project K relied heavily on her CGI.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is gearing up for the release of his next major film, Salaar. Directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neil, the new film is said to be set in the world of the KGF. The film stars Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj in key roles, with music by Ravi Bassur. “Salal” will be released in theaters in September.
