The trailer for Irrfan Khan’s final movie ‘Song of the Scorpion’ has finally been released. The film is directed by Anoop Singh and stars Golshifteh Farahani, Wahida Rehman, Shashank Arora and Tilotama Shomeh.
A trailer for the film was shared on social media by Irfan’s son Babil Khan, who wrote, “Bringing a heartbreaking tale of love, obsession and betrayal to life. #TheSongOfScorpions trailer released!”
The film is a folktale set in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan and stars Irrfan as a camel salesman who falls in love with Nooran. Nooran is a woman learning her cure from her grandmother, using her song to treat scorpion wounds.
The trailer shows Nulan walking from village to village, healing people who were bitten by Scorpios and saving their lives. It also introduces the love story between the two, but before the couple can tie her knot, tragedy strikes her and calls off her plans.
The Song of Scorpions will hit theaters around Irrfan’s third death anniversary on April 29th.
