Sushant Singh Rajput was a short-lived man who lived with precision. He has had an illustrious career and his fans and critics vouched for his talent and acting prowess. After his death, Anurag Kashyap once revealed that he was haunted by Sushanth in not one but two films. One of his was the popular commercial his flick Hasee Toh Phasee. However, we feel that the ghost story could also be partly due to Parineeti Chopra.
Kashyap once revealed in an interview that Parineeti and Sushanth were the original casting for Hussey to Phasee, co-produced by Phantom Films and Dharma Productions. Anurag wanted Sushant to star but she was unsure about working with a television actor when Parineeti got the offer.
Although Sushant Singh Rajput had yet to make his debut, he was well-known on television for many years with his role as Manab in Ekta Kapoor’s Pavitra Rishta. However, Anurag Kashyap persuaded Parineeti Chopra of the value of Sushanth and how big a star he would be if he worked with Kai Po Che, who was producing at the time. But Parineeti then did the unthinkable! Scroll down to read what happened.
In a conversation with Faye D’Souza, Kashyap recalled after Sushanth’s death: She said, “She doesn’t want to work with TV actors.” So we asked her who Sushant Singh was, he was doing ‘Kai Po Che’, he was doing ‘PK’, and by the time Hashie To Feiseh came out, He explained that he is more than just a TV actor. She was doing a movie called Shuddh Desi Romance, so she must have gone to the YRF to speak. They called him and said, ‘Why don’t you just come and do ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ instead of doing that movie? And he disappeared from our sight. ”
Later, Siddharth Malhotra replaced Sushanth in Hashi to Faizeh, and after signing a three-film deal, appeared in YRF and Suddu Desi Romance. Parineeti, on the other hand, acted in both films. In another interview at the time, Kashyap revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput had ghosted him not once, but twice. He had approached the actor for a film about Uttar Pradesh and wanted an actor with the same roots. However, as NDTV reported, even after the successful release of MS Dhoni, Sushanth never called.
However, Anurag Kashyap later admitted that he regretted not accepting the actor, and revealed that he may have felt guilty that the SSR had disappeared from his sight. He tried to contact Kashyap a few weeks before his death.
We all still miss Sushant Singh Rajput dearly and hope that he will seek comfort and peace.
