Prem Sagar, whose father was Ramanand Sagar, director of the iconic TV series Ramayan (1987), wonders how Manoj Muntasir “conceived such dialogue” in Adipurush is presenting. In a new interview, Prem asked Adi Pruush’s team to “make it a fantasy movie.” He added that “feelings cannot be hurt” if “Ramayan” is being produced. He also said he didn’t want to see “Adiploosh”. Paddle over Adiplush lines and VFX
Since last week’s release, Adipurush has come under fire for controversial lines like “marega bete,” “bua ka bhagi cha hine kyah,” and “jalegi tere baap ki.” The film also faced backlash over poor VFX. Adiprush, a dramatic retelling of the Ramayana, was directed by Om Raut.

In an interview with the news agency ANI, Prem Sagar said, “Manoj Muntasir is knowledgeable about Hinduism. I don’t understand how he came up with such dialogue in the film. The younger generation. It might be a misjudgment to say you like it, but you can’t do that to your audience.Don’t say it’s modeled after Valmiki Ramayan, give it another name.Make it a fantasy movie.But, You can’t hurt your feelings if you’re making a ramayan, people are watching this intently.”

He also said, “I’ve seen movie clips and interacted with a lot of people like Sunil Lehri[who played Laksman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan]so there’s some kind of problem. Yes, I don’t even want to see it,” he added. “About this movie. Raven is very knowledgeable and you have blackened the golden Lanka (Sone ki Lanka) and his face is five on top and five on his head. Earlier, author Manoj Muntasir told ANI, “Our aim was to introduce the true hero of Sanathan to our younger generation. If people don’t like some parts, that’s our fault.” Please fix them. He also tweeted that a few lines in the film have been fixed and a new version will be added later this week.
