Shah Rukh is making a comeback this year with his movie Pathaan after a hiatus of over four years. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana. Released in theaters worldwide in January, ¥1,000 kroner at the world box office.

In an interview with the Times of India, Madhu said: I’m a huge fan of his.

Madhu, who has previously spoken about her connection with her co-stars, said, “Young people fall in love with the little things in life. They like it, they hate it, they break up, they put on makeup. Pain and scars; I only carry lessons, and that’s why I decided, the main film industry mein shaadi nahi karungi (I will not marry someone in the industry). Because I went through a kind of situation. The biggest lesson I learned was that I was possessive and jealous and could not marry an actor.”

Madhoo made his debut in Bollywood with Ajay Devgn in Phool Aur Kaante (1991). Her first release was K Balachander’s Her Azhagan, the same year she performed with Mammooty, Bhanupriya and Geetha. She made her debut in the Malayalam industry with her Ottayal Pattalam (1991) opposite Mukesh. She played the lead role in Mani Ratnam’s Loja (1992). In 2008, she made a comeback with Kabhi Socha Bhi Na Tha.

Madhoo was recently seen in Shaakuntalam as Apsara Menaka. The film also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Dev Mohan, Gautami, Aditi Balan and Al Arjun’s daughter Al Arha. Directed by Gunasekar, the film, based on the poet Kalidasa’s play Abhiji Nanashakuntalam, opened in theaters last week.
