After more than a decade of marriage, star couple Generia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh are redefining their relationship goals, which is reflected on their social media. The actress who released her latest film, Trial Period, has revealed her secret to making her relationship a success.

Riteish and Generia met on the set of 2002’s Tuje Meri Kasam. After dating for about nine years, the two got married in 2012. The couple welcomed their first child, son Rian, in 2014, and their second bundle of joy, Rahir, in 2016.

Speaking about the pair setting new marks in their relationship, Generia told IANS that “communication and respect are the keys to a successful relationship.”

Genelia and Riteish are avid social media users. They continue to captivate fans on reel and post.

But is social media validation important to Generia?

“No, I don’t think social media validation is important to me, but if used correctly, I think it can be a good tool for PR and various deliverables,” said the actress, who has appeared in movies like “Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na,” “Masti,” and “Force.”

Her latest release is Aleya Sen’s Trial Period. The production also stars Manav Kaur, Gajiraj Rao, Shakti Kapoor, Sheeva Chadha, Swarupa Ghosh, Balun Chanda and Zidane Blaz.

In this family drama about the journey of single mother Anna (Generia), the world is turned upside down when her curious son demands his father during his 30-day probationary period.

I think it’s really special to be asked to write a script, and honestly, I think it’s great that the actors like it. If not, there are very few thoughts that you always ponder and don’t know if it’s right or wrong, but when a clear feeling comes from you that you read a script and like it, it makes a big difference. I’m glad Aleja felt I was the right person for this film.

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, presented by Jio Studios, produced by Chrome Pictures Productions, Hemant Bhandari, Amit Ravidernath Sharma, and Aleya Sen, ‘Trial Period’ premiered on JioCinema on July 21st.
