Actor Shabana Azmi took to his Twitter account to respond to people’s claims that no one asked for Lal Singh Chadda’s ban. One of them was actor Kanganaranaut. In response to a news article on the same topic, Shabana Azmi wrote: There was her PIL asking for a ban. ”
It all started when Shabana Azumi tweeted about the controversial film The Story of Kerala and questioned those who were calling for the film to be banned. She compared it to Laal Singh Chaddha, which did poorly at the domestic box office. She tweeted, “Those who talk about banning #TheKerala Story are just as wrong as those who want to ban Aamir Khan’s #Laal Singh Chaadha.” After that, no one has the right to be a film director, an additional constitutional right.”

The Kerala story has been controversial even before its release. The film claims to be based on a dangerous conspiracy hatched against India where several girls from Kerala were forced to join her ISIS terrorist organization.
However, the Kerala High Court noted on Friday that the producers have released a disclaimer along with the film that specifically states that the film is fiction. said it was not claiming the accuracy or factuality of historical events.
Laal Singh Chaddha, on the other hand, is an adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump. It starred Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. However, the film did not impress audiences as expected during its theatrical release.
