Shah Rukh Khan is included in the list of Icons of the Year 2023 in Time magazine’s annual 100 Most Influential People of 2023. A list shared Thursday included stars like Pedro Pascal and Jennifer Coolidge to Shah Rukh Khan. Actor Deepika Padukone wrote a beautiful note for her Pattern co-star, calling him a “phenomenon”. Time magazine included Shah Rukh Khan in its annual list of 100 Most Influential People Cover Icons and published a photo from last year’s Red Sea International Film Festival. Her Deepika Padukone, who has worked with the star several times in the past including Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Pathaan, wrote a short note explaining her relationship with him. “I will never forget the first time I met Shah Rukh Khan. I had just arrived in Mumbai from Bangalore with a suitcase and a dream. “It has been 16 years since then and what makes our relationship so special is the love, trust and respect we have for each other. He will forever be known as one of the greatest actors of all time, but what really sets him apart is his spirit, chivalry and generosity.The list goes on…”
Deepika concludes by noting that he considers Shah Rukh Khan to be a “phenomenon”, writing: Other names on the list include White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge, Everything Everywhere All At Once’s Ke Hoi Quan, Booker Prize-winning author Salman Rushdie and The Last of Us star Pedro His Pascal.
Shah Rukh was last seen in a pattern led by Siddharth Anand. The film also starred John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles. Pathaan is streaming on Prime Video. The film has emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
