Veteran actor Zeenat Aman spoke Monday about the false statements and gossip he has encountered during his career. In a recent post on Instagram, Zeenat said he will continue to deal with the situation as a public figure. Her words were appreciated by many including Kajol. Zeenat Aman talks gossip about her
Zinat writes: “Public perception is a funny thing. When you become famous, strangers imagine that they know your personality and life story well. They feel entitled to gossip and judgments that provoke their own moral outrage.”
Recalling the false stories and hate speech against her, the senior actor said, “In my 50 years in the Hindi film industry, I have read and heard so many false and cruel statements about myself that I could write a book. I am not going to list them one by one and refute them.” Because these are simply not worth my attention.
“I now understand that the usual reaction to such allegations is–well, if you choose to be in the public eye, deal with the gossip. My response to that. Yes, I continue to address the issue and will continue to address it, but I also believe that spreading easy gossip and misinformation is more important than the person being spoken to. I would have no hesitation in saying that it says a lot more about the speaker.

In replying to her, Kajol praised her by saying, “It’s true!” One fan commented, “You’ve handled this gossip with the utmost grace and dignity.
