The Allahabad High Court questioned why manufacturers of Adiprush would be tested for tolerance to one religion. Their reaction comes a day after the court granted petitioners’ amendments, which challenged the film on various points. The film has come under fire for its dialogue, language and portrayal of some characters in the epic Ramayana. Dialogue writer Manoj Muntasir has also been notified of “offensive” dialogue. “Should kind people be suppressed? Right? It’s good that this is about a religion and its followers didn’t cause a security problem. We should be grateful. See it on the news.” But some people could have gone to the cinema[where the film was shown]and just forced the hall to close,” said Rajesh Singh Chohan. The judge and the court of Justice Sri Prakash Singh told the Central Film Commission. Authentication had to do something before granting authentication to Adipurush.
“Agar hum log ispar bhi aankh Band kar len kyonki yeh kaha jaata hai ki yeh dharm ke log bade sahishnu (tolerant) hain to kya uska test liya jayega? Forbearance, will it be put to the test?” the court added. “The issue here[in the PIL petition]is that there are some scriptures that are exemplary and worthy of worship in the way films are made. Recite Tomana,” Bench said.

At an earlier hearing, the court asked, “What does the Censorship Board keep doing?” What do you want to teach future generations? The court also questioned the absence of the producer, director and other parties from the hearing.
Petition to Ban Adiprush
Meanwhile, another petition seeks a ban on the display of Adipurush under the Live Act, accusing it of hurting the feelings of Hindus and followers of various deities portrayed in the film by “destroying the basic values and character” of them. has been submitted to the Supreme Court of India. And modify the “basic structure” of Valmiki Ramayana.
Adipurush is directed by Om Raut and stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and more. It was released on June 16th and sparked controversy. Later, after criticism from the audience, the filmmakers modified some of the dialogue in the film.
