Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel are set to promote their upcoming action-romance movie Gadar 2 on the Kapil Sharma Show. The duo can be seen dancing to popular songs from the first installment, including Main Nikula Gadi Leke and Wood Jah Kare Kaava. Kapil jokes that Sunny came to shoot in his truck
In a promotion published by channel Sony Entertainment Television, show host Kapil Sharma said: Toh Archana ji poochh rahi thi ki paji, aap apni gaadi mein aaye ho aaj ya track chala ke aaye ho (These days you see Sunny Diol in Tara Singh costume everywhere. did you come here) did you shoot today in a car or did you drive a truck to get here?” In Gadal, he mentioned Sunny’s iconic character, truck driver Tara Singh, and said the actor would reprise the role in the upcoming sequel.
Sunny responded quickly to Kapil’s joke with wit. He said “Maine socha inko bhi le jana hai baad mein toh track theek rahega” (I have to take her after filming so I thought the track would be suitable) and greatly entertained both Kapil and Archana. I let it go.
Amisha makes Kapil cheat
Later in the promo, Kapil recalls being on the set of Gadar in Amritsar. He said he tapped Amrish Puri on the shoulder before the late actor got angry in his characteristic way. Amisha replied that Kapil should have tapped him on the shoulder instead, embarrassing the show host.
About Gadal 2
Gadar 2 also stars Utkarsh Sharma, son of Anil Sharma, who was a child actor in the first part released in 2001. Co-produced by Anil and G Studio, Gadal 2 is set to hit theaters on August 11th. It will also collide with the long-awaited sequel OMG 2, a satirical comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi.
