Author Yasser Usman issued a statement regarding the ongoing coverage of Rekha. Yasser wrote a biography of Rekha, Rekha: The Untold Story, which was published in 2016. According to some recent reports, the biography indicated that Rekha was in a live-in relationship with her manager, Farzana. Breaking his silence on the matter, Yasser Usman has dismissed allegations of a domestic relationship with Rekha. He wrote on Twitter: “The quote claiming a ‘domestic relationship’ in my book ‘Rekha the Secret Story’ is a complete fabrication, falsification and misrepresentation clearly intended to create sensationalism. I strongly contend that the quote mentioned in the media article does not exist in my book at all.”
“Furthermore, the terms ‘domestic relationship’ or ‘hermetic existence’ or ‘biography claiming the relationship is sexual’ are never used throughout the manuscript,” he added. “These false citations are the result of poor clickbait journalism and continue to resurface every few years,” he said.
He shared the statement, also on his microblogging website, stating: “It’s despicable that clickbait journalism hates fact-checking. And most of the time they target women. It’s a statement.”

Previously, Yasser Usman’s book said that only Mr. Farzana, Mr. Rekha’s manager, was allowed to enter Mr. Rekha’s bedroom. She also said that she controls every detail of her own life and that everyone in the industry knows that no actor can function without her Farzana. They were together for 30 years, she claimed.
Rekha married Mukesh Agarwal, a Delhi-based businessman and television producer, in March 1990. However, the marriage ended when Mukesh died by suicide seven months later.
Lekha recently appeared on the small screen in the promotion of the TV show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’. Her fans are still waiting for her to announce a project, so her last appearance was in the movie Super Nani in a full-length role.
