Actor Salman Khan arrived in Kolkata around afternoon on Saturday. A video of him arriving at the home of West Bengal Prime Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kalighat district has surfaced online. Ahead of the show, Salman visited Mamata Banerjee. A video shared by news agency ANI shows the actor arriving at CM’s house with security guards. He wore a light blue shirt, gray pants and sunglasses. His bodyguard Shera was also near him.
As the actor got out of his car, the Kolkata paparazzi began calling him “Baijaan.” He saw Mamata standing outside the house to greet him, and the actors joined hands. CM greeted him with a shawl around his neck. The two chatted in front of the media.
The actor also stopped and stepped forward to pose in front of the media before entering the mansion. Salman waved at the camera, saluted, and folded his hands. Mamata Banerjee also joined the photo session before entering the building grounds.
Officials said the actor spent about 30 minutes at the prime minister’s house, according to ANI. The hotel where Salman is staying has increased security, he said.
Salman’s performance in Kolkata will be the first in a long time. He is performing at a club that just celebrated its 100th anniversary a few months ago. Besides Salman, the show will also feature Sonakshi Sinha, Pooja Hegde, Guru Landawa, Jacqueline Fernandez and Manish Paul.
In the past, fans have been seen reacting to show ticket prices.They are in the range of ₹up to 699 ₹40,000.people have to spend ₹$200,000 to $300,000 for lounge access.
Salman’s latest film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan received negative reviews from critics and did poorly at the box office. He also made a cameo in reviving his iconic character Tiger in Shah Rukh Khan’s Patterns. He will next appear in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif.
