Twitter reacts to Jaya’s grim expression

On Twitter, Jaya’s stern look haunts him throughout Dindra Valle Le. Many users took advantage of microblogging sites to share funny reactions and memes.

One user shared a screenshot of Jaya’s expression during the song, captioning it, “Jaya Bachchan’s reaction after watching Khajura Ri,” referring to the popular dance track from Shadh Ali’s 2005 romantic comedy “Banti Aul Babri,” starring Jaya’s family (husband Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai). However, Aishwarya was not married to Abhishek at that time.

About Dindra Valle

The new song depicts Alia Bhatt in a red ankle-length sari and Ranveer Singh in a red Anarkali and churidar dancing in front of a Durga Puja idol. As the two dance in their own way, they get strange looks from their respective families. As Rani’s family finally returns, Jaya Bachchan, who plays Rocky’s grandmother, walks away in a rage.

The song depicts twins Aria and Ranveer dancing enthusiastically in traditional red costumes. The song is set during a Durga Puja celebration, with several backing his dancers also dressed in red. The song was sung by Darshan Raval and Bhoomi Trivedi and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The music was composed by Pritam and the songs were choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.

Alia and Ranveer released the song in Kolkata.
