The first poster of Maharajah, the 50th feature film directed by Vijay Setupati, has been released. The film also stars Anurag Kashyap and is directed by Nitiran Saminathan, best known for his work on Klang Bommai.
On Wednesday, Vijay shared the news on his official Twitter account. He wrote, “#VJS50 Title is #Maharaja. Written and directed by @Dir_Nithilan.”

Passion Studios and The Route produced Maharaja with Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy as producers. According to a statement from the makers, filming has concluded and is now in the final stages of post-production. The cast includes Mamta Mohandas and Natty (Natraj).
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Vijay Setupati will next star in Atri's 'Jawan' alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Nayantara. He also has a Merry Christmas with Katrina Kaif.
